Monday morning (1/27) Janice loaded up a customer quilt for me:

and got it started before she and Dennis left for home:

I worked on that until 2 PM when we left for a routine doctor’s appointment. Since the doctor was in Pineville, and since Michael got a free dessert from Olive Garden for his birthday, we headed there afterwards for dinner.

I had shrimp and chicken carbonara:

while Michael had the Tour of Italy:

Both of our dinners were yummy and when we got home around 6 PM, I got the last row done on my customer quilt, as well as completing the inside on my newest stair step quilt:

A United Healthcare nurse practitioner came to the house Tuesday morning (1/28) to give us a yearly health check and after that Michael headed out on errands...the library was just one place he went...where the resident ''dog'' is all decked out for Valentine's Day:

while I got the Christmas quilt all cleaned up, and loaded up another customer quilt:

I worked on that in the afternoon, and only have 1 row to go. Michael and I had leftovers for dinner, then he left to pick up Larry for the movies and Iris came over to visit with me. What a wonderful evening!

I SKYPE’d with Janice Wednesday morning (1/29), before running out the door to my hair appointment. I was home by 1:30 and got the final 1-1/2 rows done on the elephant quilt:

That makes 8 quilts for the month of January!!!
I spent a bit of time in the afternoon with another customer who brought me a GINORMOUS quilt to do…..that is just hanging over my rails….waiting to be measured.
Micahel and I got cleaned up before 5 PM and picked up by Ed & Carol for dinner out at an Italian restaurant in Waxhaw. After we split a Ceasar salad, I had Chicken Milanese:

while Michael had shrimp scampi:

Ed & Carol asked us to try to make our dinner out a monthly event....so we're gonna try :~).
We were home by 8 PM and settled in to continue to watch season 2 of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING.
And remember this quilt with the ''unmatching'' binding fabric?

Here's the new fabric I got.....MUCH better!

And 10 years ago (Susie - make sure you check out the last one....me and crumb blocks!!!)....
*** I love board games....my favorite is where people put meat and cheese on a board...and maybe fruit and some crackers....I am SO GOOD at that one! ***
I read the last one too. I can't believe you made those "crumb" blocks.
New fabric for binding is perfect!
Fabulous visit with fab friends
