I am marking Sunday (8/7) as a red-letter-day….in a good way!!! I put together a reasonable night’s sleep (Saturday night) and actually felt pretty good when we got up on Sunday. Yes, I did my normal 4 AM ice-on-knee-for-half-an-hour….but went right back to sleep after that (and taking another pain pill). We had a lazy, slow morning and my honey even got in a little nap (as he’s working on 8 days out in a row):
before leaving for rehearsal at 2 PM. I had a little time to continue to organize my Corinne fabric, and found the perfect something for another potato chip quilt:
I got it cut and put into my project box for the Fiber Floozies retreat, with my faithful companion sleeping alongside:
I know the retreat is going to be here before I know it, and I only have 2 projects so far….
I am in the weirdest predicament with my current library book….I’m not sure I’ve ever been in this situation before! It started out a bit slow…maybe for the first 15 – 20 pages…then HOLEY MOLEY…it grabs you by the throat and won’t let go. The situation is that I’m dying to know what happens next…but I’m also afraid to find out what new predicament is going to befall the protagonist! So…I DO and I DON”T want to read it!!! What I really want is for Michael to read it and tell me how it ends. I am REALLY recommending this book, ABOUT THE AUTHOR: A NOVEL by JOHN COLAPINTO….you’ve gotta tell me if you end up reading it!
*** What if they close grocery stores and we have to hunt for our food? I don’t even know where Little Debbie lives! ***
Live the fabrics for the quilt!
