Breakfast with the ladies, Corinne's!

Tuesday (10/12) was a whirlwind day. Michael left before 9 AM for the chiro, CVS, Harris Teeter, a hair cut, the bagel place, the pierogi place, and the liquor store (Lisa, hairdresser, was disappointed when she heard about the latest cookies, so Michael came home and got 4 of them and took them back to her!). I left just before 9 AM for breakfast with the ladies over at Le PEEP:

-Gale & Ginny

-Ann Mary & Sally

I have an addendum to my ''personal shopper'' story.....see Gale in the top pick? That's my personal shopper. Well, when she started to look for the over-the-door-wreath-hangers, she could only find red or green. She had asked me what I was using them for, and she didn't think those colors would work...so she kept searching until she finally found the white ones that are just perfect! See, I never would have even thought to tell someone that....that's what makes her an excellent personal shopper. Remember, the last thing she found for me was an 8''square Caphalon baking pan for only 6 bucks!!!

I had the quiche and it was excellent:

After that I had a long list of shopping at ALDI’s (4 dozen eggs Arizona Mary!) and was home in time to put away groceries and sit with ice on my knees for just a bit before Judy picked up me and Paula and we headed off to Corinne’s for fabric.

We met Linda there and all had a good time picking out fabric. Corrine had out a few of her fall decorations:

-Leila, I love this and think you should do it!!!

I took along some Boston Creme Pie cookies to share and I think everyone liked them. I’ll show you what fabric I got once I have it all folded correctly :~).

We didn’t get home until after 3 PM, when Judy:

settled in to stitch out a label for the quilt she is giving to her granddaughter. This took just a bit of time to set up, but then took over TWO HOURS to stitch out:

We talked and I folded fabric while that was happening…and here’s my latest acquisition:

The squiggle quilt wiped me out of teal/aqua, so I got a bit more of that:

And then I put together this gorgeous stack:

By the time Judy left, it was time for Michael to leave for rehearsal. I had potato soup for dinner (a donation from a neighbor and it was yummy!) I watched TV for the rest of the evening and knitted.

Can you explain Corrine’s a bit? Is this give away fabric or does she sell it, next time you go you need to take pictures so we can see all the options not just your picks
