Michael was up at 6 AM for golf on Wednesday (4/20) while I stayed in bed…waking and dozing and waking and dozing. I didn’t really want to get up as I could feel my back was still aching…but eventually I was up just before 9 AM.
After a shower I had some kitchen work to do....Paula’s hubby brought me a rotisserie chicken on Tuesday…and after I got it picked, I put the carcass in my smaller crockpot. It cooked almost 24 hours....and I needed to strain out the solids and get the stock chilled, and once that was done I plugged in the larger crockpot and put together dog food (my crockpots are really getting a workout over these last 2 days :~). After that I balanced my checkbook before getting breakfast, and heading downstairs.
With my back problems I am still not ready to try to load a quilt, so I worked on my #2 chandelier all day...I got the bottom half of my blocks sewn into rows:
Michael had a salad with spinach & ricotta raviolis for dinner, and I had a salad with cooked chicken.
I know this isn't a ''funny''...but I loved it, so you're getting it....

I am really liking the yellow setting triangles, gives the quilt a very different look.
