Continuing with customer quilt

COVID deaths yesterday: 626,762

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but polio and small pox never reached natural herd immunity. They were eradicated by vaccines.

***************************************

My honey left before 8 AM for golf at Fort Mill on Monday (7/26). I got through my emails and got my blog out before settling back in with my customer quilt. The borders are larger than the middle of the quilt :~(, so it required a lot of babysitting, especially when I got to the second half of the quilt.

I’m thinking of packing it in as a customer longarmmer at the end of this year…..I get so stressed over borders that are TOO BIG FOR THE QUILT!!! It is stressful to work them in with no pleats….and goodness knows, I don't need the stress and I have enough tops of my own to do…I think I could keep XENA pretty busy just with quilts from me and Janice and BG and Paula (and the occasional quilt from Pat, even though she will tell you she is NOT a quilter!!)

Michael was home by 1:30…not that happy with his 89, but oh well!

I had a phone visit with my doctor around lunchtime. He was glad that my A1C appears to be trending back down, but still not happy with where it actually is, nor where my weight is. I had to tell him the truth….neither am I, but I don’t seem to be able to do anything about it. Wish I knew how to trigger that switch in my brain that makes me motivated :~(.

I continued to work on the customer quilt until around 6 PM, and I am about 2/3 of the way done with it. Michael ran out to get Chinese for dinner and we relaxed with PROFESSOR T (another PBS show) in the evening.

*** I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right and exercise…..

But that was 4 hours ago…when I was younger and full of hope. ***

I have been enjoying Professor T! I liked him on Death in Paradise (and further back on Primeval). He does neurotic well. PS - Pat is a quilter! Have you seen the Frankenbags she's been making? So fun (I follow the lady who created the tutorial now)!
