I hopped up and got my blog out right away on Wednesday (3/2) so that I was ready to be picked up by Paula at 9:30. Michael was already out of the house….going golfing at 8 AM with a friend he hasn’t seen in quite awhile. ..Dennis. Paula got her haircut, while I had a pedicure:
Gotta have those toes looking good for next week. Speaking of….no blogs next week as Michael and I will be visiting friends in Florida…and I don’t think our house/dog/cat sitter is into writing blogs :~).
When I got home, I SKYPE’d with Janice, and finally hit the studio around 1 PM. First up was finishing the last 3 rows of my customer quilt and dealing with a stitching hiccup, that took an hour to rip out and repair. Michael came home while I was working on it (home by 3 PM) with an 82 and he putted in from off the fringe on the first hole….60 feet….for a birdie!!! Birdie streak up to 3 in a row!!!
Anyway, by 5 PM I was done with my customer quilt:
I ran upstairs after completing the quilt to make and bake cookie cups:
for quilting tomorrow. I also made pastry cream, and will fill them tomorrow morning.
And then, since the oven was already on…it was popovers:
to go with our Elephant Chicken Soup. I headed back to the studio after dinner….I had nothing to work on at quilting tomorrow, so I got the inner and outer borders cut for the potato chip quilt….as well as the binding:
*** GUESS WHO FINALLY CLEANED THEIR SEWING ROOM? Not me, but I’m sure someone did and I am proud of you!! ***
