Trump’s reckless bluster about his “spectacular military success” in Iran has just been thoroughly debunked. A classified defense report has surfaced, indicating that the US targeted bombing campaign barely made a dent in Iran’s nuclear program. While the attack set Iran’s nuclear enrichment program back by “only a few months,” the global fallout will last years. As Trump was braying to the world about his singular spectacularity, claiming US bunker buster bombs had “totally obliterated” Iran’s enrichment sites, no one—including Trump—knew the extent of the damage, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
To the exact point, no one knew then, or knows now, where Iran hid its enriched uranium, but US bombs apparently didn’t hit the stash.

I had to post this....when we got home on Tuesday, we unpacked the ''car snacks'' we had on our trip....so of course....a NEW BOX!!!!!:

We hit the ground running on our first day back from our trip…..Wednesday (6/25) ended up to be a very full day!
I SKYPE’d with Janice in the morning and then left for my first PT appointment. After that I did 2 returns at UPS and hit the library to pick up some books before heading over to my massage….HEAVEN!
I got home in time to read for a bit before Iris picked me up for another cookie decorating class…we had a blast:

and when I came home around 9:30, I was pooped and just vegged with my honey for a bit before bed.

Thursday (6/26) was the second day of a quilt retreat at SHQ. I had a blast getting caught up with everyone, and there was SO MUCH GOOD food and snacks from the first day I thought I’d have to be rolled out to my car!
We also had great show and tell:
-these next 2 have all of the same blocks....just set totally differently

It was after 3 PM when I got home and I was just pooped. My sewing machine didn't quite make it into the closet right away....so of course it has to be explored:

I spent the rest of the afternoon, in the living room, reading my library books and trying to stay cool.

Michael left early Friday morning (6/27) for a foot doc appointment, followed by lunch out with his friends, while I headed to the studio.
Janice altered a BQ pattern for one of her quilts…and I LOVE her changes. I’ve been dying to start a quilt out of the pattern, but have been being stern with myself about FIRST finishing off several (many?) half finished things lying around my sewing tables, so I jumped in on that.
First up was loading a customer quilt I got before we left:

I worked on that for the rest of the day, along with recovering some backing fabric so that I can make some binding. Michael and I finally had the lovely chicken dish that our house/dog/cat sitter left for us and it was yummy!!

Lovely blog as usual!! Great quilts and how many people in the cookie class?
Cookie decorating was very cute! Did instructor say how she got that unique shade of blue frosting?
How did you meet Iris? Also what is BQ or was it a typo and should have been BH, and what’s the pattern Janice altered.
