I was up early Wednesday morning (2/9) so I got my blog out and got my customer backing loaded, before SKYPE-ing with Janice at 9 AM. We finished talking and I took a shower and headed up to the Lake House for a Diabetes Seminar. In retrospect, I am very glad I kept my mask on for the entire 2 hour presentation. What do I mean by that? When I got home, Michael and I headed to the other end of Fort Mill (after dropping off some soup to one of our neighbors) to get COVID tests….we got the results on the way home….he tested positive…..I tested negative. I am glad that I sat at a table by myself at the diabetes talk…away from other people…and kept my mask on during the presentation. I was a bit surprised that only one other person was wearing a mask….I would have worn one whether Michael had been sick or not. He is already feeling better….he said he took Cookie for a walk while I was at the seminar…and there’s no way he felt like doing that on Monday or Tuesday. I contacted all of the QUAP people to see what they thought about me still coming on retreat….since we’re supposed to leave on Saturday :~(. Michael has decided he’ll wear a mask in the house to try to keep me from catching anything…and obviously we are not sleeping together. The decision came through from QUAP attendees….Janice will bring me another (at home) test when she comes on Friday….if I show negative….I’ll go, if I’m positive, obviously I’ll stay home.

We had Mexican Chicken for dinner and it was another early night to bed.
