Michael left for errands (haircut, Performance Therapy for his knee, library, and second breakfast at Bo Jangles :~) Tuesday morning (8/15), and I headed to the studio to load up another customer quilt:
I got it all loaded and the program set up, but that was as far as I got before my honey came home. We talked for a bit as we are both very nervous about picking up a puppy on Wednesday….and how our lives are going to change….but after the dreaded months of house breaking, we are both looking forward to years and years of puppy love :~).
We were totally out of bread in the house, so that’s what I spent the afternoon doing….while reading my library book. It came out of the oven at 5 PM:
and while it was still warm, Michael took a half loaf to our new next door neighbor as a ‘’welcome to the neighborhood’’ loaf. He said her eyes got HUGE and she hardly knew what to say! The other half went to Kay & Pete….neighbors 2 doors down.
Michael left at 5:25 to pick up Larry and head to the movies, and Diane picked me up at 5:30 and we headed out to dinner. I have never eaten at THE IMPROPER PIG in Fort Mill, but I have certainly drooled over the smell any time we have attended the theatre. Diane said they had an excellent plate of unusual nachos, so that’s where we headed for dinner:
The nacho ‘’chips’’ were their homemade potato chips, covered with pimento cheese and pulled pork:
They were AWESOME, and after sharing a plate, Diane and I were totally stuffed. She dropped me off at home and I continued to knit on my ruana/shrug until my honey got home around 9:30.
*** I was being so good at the quilt store….I really was….but then I got out of the car and went in. ***
Glad you got to eat at the Improper Pig. Our group has eaten there for years before we go to the play. Yummy!
Please send lots of pictures of the new puppy!!! Cannot wait. By the way, the nachos looked FABULOUS!
I'm still full! Looking forward to seeing the new puppy too. Hope all goes well.
Can’t wait to see the new puppy
