I headed out for blood work on Friday morning (9/16), then hit Panera, ALDI’s, the bank, and friend Susan’s (to drop off a small gift) before heading home.
Janice and I SKYPE’d after that (we had pushed if off from Wednseday) and when we were done, Michael and I headed up to the Lodge for ice cream Fridays. The tailgators have been serving ice cream every Friday from NOON - 4 all summer...and you know when I remember it? Generally Saturday morning!!! So, I was pleased to be able to finally participate...and our ice cream sandwiches were yummy! We each sat out at the pavilion, enjoying our ice cream sandwiches and the weather before coming back home.
I finally got the quilting finished on my customer quilt and then got it all cleaned up and trimmed and off of the frame:
before we had dinner and left for the theatre. It was a funny Saturday night audience…..laughed at some things…but very quiet on other things previous audiences have laughed at. We had 4 friends in the audience and they were thrilled and surprised to see me participate…and of course they thought my honey was brilliant :~).
We were home just after 10 PM and Michael did some set up for his breakfast before we headed for bed.
*** My first objective when I get home from being out somewhere is to change into something that makes me look homeless :~). ***
Prepping for breakfast means setting up all my omelette making supplies for a quick start in the AM for golf!
So what was Michael making for his breakfast the next morning that he was setting up the night before, something yummy or just he was leaving early…..?
so true you funny statement, the homeless outfit comes on earlier and earlier these days
