But first, customer quilts always take precedence, and in order to load the new one, I had to get the old ones off! I had already cleaned up the ‘’warm colors’’ AZ Mary quilt:
but the cool colors one was still on the frame:
so I spent time ripping out the basting and weaving in my bobbins ends before I loaded up the new (HUGE) customer quilt:
What with one thing and another (everything above plus emails, blog, meeting with modifications guy, breakfast, a long talk with Paula on the porch, my phone ringing off the hook all day long, a shorter talk with another quilting friend) I didn’t get back to the secret project until after 4 PM!! I don’t know how that much of the day got away from me!!! My honey came home from golf just before 3 PM, no birdies today, but a score of 89 so he was kinda happy!
I got to sew for only an hour before Pam visited:
because she wanted to share HER NEW CAR!!!! She is very excited and happy….she stopped on the way home from the dealers.
We checked out all of the features before she left for home, and then had a quick dinner.
