Elephant baby quilt, Fiber Nutz meeting

Current US COVID related deaths: 992,302

US COVID deaths as of 2 days ago: sorry, I must have picked up the wrong numbers when I got back from vacation.

*******************************

We were up and out at 7 AM on Tuesday morning (3/15) on our way to eye appointments for the both of us. I had a visual field test (which both of us hate because it makes you feel like you are going blind when you don’t click the clicker because you don’t see the dot!!!) and Michael and I had routine eye pressure checks. I am so grateful that the doctor said I have not lost any vision in my eyes….the visual field test showed exactly the same as last year…and she was very pleased with the pressure in both of our eyes…so we don’t have to go back for 6 months…..YAY! (Usually it is every 3 months). And she is always so kind to bring up the quilt I made for her baby...and she always tells me it is his favorite and people comment on it whenever they see it

We stopped at ALDI’s on the way home for a variety of things…but also managed to score one of those thin baguettes I like…so I see skinny pizzas in our future :~).

I had time to get one row done on Sandy’s quilt before the Fiber Nutz showed up:

-Rosalie & Pam

-Sheila & Melanie

-Marilyn

Somehow we got off on a tangent talking abouteveryone's birthing experience (of all things!), and Marilyn was the only one who got to show her show & tell:

-obviously she has just started this one

before everyone left around 4 PM.

Michael left for a dental cleaning and he had a quick dinner when he got home, then left at 6 PM to pick up Larry to see the new BATMAN movie. I headed back downstairs and continued to quilt until 9 PM, when Sandy’s quilt was finished:

My honey was home by 10:30 and I stayed up for just a bit before collapsing in bed.

*** Finally old enough to do whatever I want. Too tired to actually do it! ***
