I was up at 6 AM on Tuesday (6/7); I was hosting the Fiber Nutz and I knew if I didn’t get my cookies done before leaving for errands, they wouldn’t set up in time…so I again made the Oatmeal Jam bars:
and had breakfast before Michael and I headed out. First stop, TSA…where we still didn’t have any luck. There was at least a 2 hour wait, so we decided to try to make an appointment from home. Then we hit the post office, the golf store, and the liquor store before heading home.
Pam said a couple of weeks ago how much more fun our meetings would be with alcohol, so I mixed up a pitcher of mai tais and very small glasses and set everything up for the ladies:
Everyone was there around 1 PM and we had a delightful meeting:
and my loom is finally totally dressed! Melanie brought a picture of show and tell...her latest watercolor....I think her movement of the water is gorgeous!!!
Ethel visited us for most of the meeting on the back of the sofa:
I love it when kitties lie there like they have no bones in their bodies:
Everyone left around 5 PM, and Michael made spaghetti & meatballs for dinner before we settled in front of the TV.
*** Aging is tricky...it's like you still feel young inside, but then every once in awhile you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and reality just SMACKS you in the face!! ***
What's happening on your loom ?! Love the colors... Melanies watercolor is Beautiful !!
I have been smacked HARD!
Deb - is there anything you don't do?!
