Fiber Nutz, Marc & Kate & AJ visit

I got in a quick visit with the Fiber Nutz group last Tuesday (2/21):

I missed getting a pic of Rosalie, but had to take this shot of Mahetabel, just lounging around while we met:

Pam hosted the meeting....her dad's birthday was Valentine's Day and she always did a spread....so she did one for us with chili and cornbread and cherry pie for dessert:

Everything was wonderful!! This is the core group and they are a terrific group of ladies and I truly appreciate the time that we spend together.

I scurried home from that meeting to meet up with this:

We had 4 wonderful days....we visited the library, played miniature golf:

used the putting green for real golf:

had fun at the sports center:

had a 2 week early birthday party:

wrote a story with illustrations by Pop-pop:

made and ate lasagna:

set up our favorite minion, Kevin, as a chia pet:

ate at a fabulous, famous restaurant in Rock Hill (Kounter):

and in general, ran and ran and ran all day and night! This is why you have kids when you’re young…..because you certainly can’t keep up with them when you’re our age :~).

I think everyone had a good time, and Marc & Kate got to have a date night, with grandparents at the ready, which they really appreciated.

*** Husband: What’s for dinner?

Wife: nothing

Husband: But we had nothing last night?

Wife: I know, I made enough for 2 days. ***
