My back was still killing me when I got up Tuesday morning (4/19), so other than making a pan of oatmeal jam bars in the morning, I did some stretches, then sat in my chair and read. Michael made a quick run to the grocery store and down to Ivy Place for strawberries before coming home to get them all cleaned.
I hosted the Fiber Nutz in the afternoon:
and they snarfed down all of the jam bars :~). Susie stopped by to check out an antique quilt (1930's era) that Connie had brought:
Connie stayed after everyone else left to talk about Easter and children and a host of other things :~).
Michael and I had ham and scalloped potato leftovers for dinner, then he wanted to watch a movie he had taped, and I headed downstairs and made a start on sewing my blocks into rows (on my 2nd of 3 chandelier quilts):
And finally...remember when we had our basement floor re-done...at the end of January? At that time I found out our contractor....his brother...and a friend of theirs are all veterans...and I secretly got 3 quilts delievered to the contractor's wife. Two of the quilts were finally given out...and I have a picture of Josh (the contractor) receiving his:
His wife said he was ''surprised, and honored and truly touched''!!!

Finally!!!
