The House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the US Capitol held its fourth public hearing on Tuesday, focusing on then-President Donald Trump's pressure campaign on officials in states like Georgia and Arizona, where the 2020 election results were close. The panel featured testimony from three Republican officials who were all on the receiving end of Trump's outreach after the election -- and all testified about their unwillingness to participate in schemes that would undermine the election. Multiple witnesses also told the committee that Trump was personally involved in the effort to put forward slates of fake electors in key battleground states -- a key part of the broader effort to overturn President Joe Biden’s legitimate election victory.

We were up and out Tuesday morning (6/21), Michael had his hair cut, and when he was done, I took the car to AAA to continue to plan our secret vacation!
Once I got home, I headed downstairs and Michael discovered something…..OK…the weirdest thing happened….someone has taken our smaller bird feeder!!! Michael asked me when I got home if I had moved it for some reason…and I had not…and he just went outside and searched all around and it is no where to be found….weird!
I left just before 1 PM for our monthly Fiber Nutz meeting at Pam's house:

including a new weaver Corinne, and she had gorgeous show and tell:
she painted her warp for these.....trust me...the pictures don't come close to doing the colors justice!
And Melanie brought along a couple of quilt tops she has finished:
When I got home around 4 PM…the bird feeder mystery had been solved…..whether it blew down or what…we don’t know…but Michael found it in our flower bed at the end of the row of pots where someone had obviously placed it:

I got to sew a little bit into the early evening, and finished the second set of blocks for my newest quilt:
We both had chef's salads for dinner, and Michael ended up not going to the movies, so we made popcorn and enjoyed BEST IN SHOW right at home!
