Seen on FB and how true it is!!!
According to MAGA, if you hit a car with a baseball bat because you don't like the company's owner, you're a ''terrorist''...but if you hit a capital police officer with a baseball bat because you don't like the results of an election....you're a ''patriot''. Do I have that right?

Tuesday morning (3/25) Michael headed out to his neuropathy appointment, while I hit the studio where I once again faced a longarm with a breakage problem :~(. I made a few changes and was watching things stitch out when I noticed that I also had a long jump stitch on the top of my quilting :~(. There were needle holes along the jump stitch…that means that my encoders were still all right, but I still had no idea what was causing this new problem. I posted it on my FB group and decided to concentrate on something else to cheer myself up :~).
I have various project drawers and I want a new one for a long term project….so I went through some of my unlabeled drawers to see if I could clean one out. I found a bunch of HST’s:

and luckily I bought a new pattern in early December with Diane that uses only HST’s….so I figured out I needed 20 more to get the size quilt I want….so I worked on those for a bit before picking up Nancy and heading off to the monthly Fiber Nutz meeting.
Carol (our hostess)

gave us a demo on gel printing on paper and fabric, and it was FABULOUS:

Nancy and I left just after 3 PM and sat outside her house and talked for an hour before I finally headed home.
Michael headed out to the movies close to 7 PM and I had a relaxing and quiet evening, knitting and watching TV.

I SKYPE’d with Janice Wednesday morning (3/26), then headed across the street for my massage. When I got home, I continued to work on the HST’s (after trying my longarm once again and getting 2 breaks within 3 minutes) and finally got all of the additional HST's done:

Now I just have to wait for Janice to visit to help with the layout. She did such a beautiful job re-arranging the colors on my green/blue charm square quilt:

that I know she’ll be able to do something beautiful with the new HST's and new pattern.

Thursday (3/27) was all about quilting…with lovely show and tell:

I got home after 3 PM and decided I’ve got to finish a row on this QoV and then I will take everything off of the longarm, even though the quilt is not done. I have a customer quilt that has been sitting for a week and I gotta work on it. So that was the rest of my frustrating afternoon….but I didn’t even get that one row finished before it was time to clean up:

and pick up Kay & Pete:

and head over to TRIO’s for our goodbye dinner. We had a wonderful time…I had farro risotto with scallops:

while Michael had angel hair with shrimp and scallops:

and we all had wonderful desserts:

before heading home around 8 PM.
There will definitely be a hole in our lives with Kay & Pete moving back to Ohio, but we are very happy for them and can’t wait to see pictures of them all settled in their new house.
We crashed on the couch after that and watched a bit of TV while icing Michael’s ankle…he twisted it badly before he even left the house for golf today :~(.

SO….I got a great email back from friend Cathy….it seems she too hasn’t made chicken parmesan in forever…and decided it was to be on her own menu over the weekend, before seeing my post! Of course, she makes her own tomato sauce (which is heaven!!!) but it was too funny that we both decided to make it around the same time….
And 10 years ago....

Loved the gel prints and your green/blue charm quilt! What a cute couple you and Michael are in that picture! Your dinners and desserts look fabulous!
Great looking couple who went out with Kay and Pete! That dress looks so pretty on you!
I loved your blue and green quilt and June’s quilt too. Took pictures to try and copy
Rick had shoulder replacement and then disc surgery and has had neuropathy in his fingers ever since. What issue does Michael have and is he getting any relief
I agree with all of the comments the previous people have made there’s no sense reiterating that. But I do have a thought, when did you change your needle last on your long arm?
Bummer about your longarm, I would have abandoned that long ago...
Love the gel prints! I did that in school once and it was so much fun. I've seen the gel plates being sold on Amazon and they're on my wish list. We had to make them ourselves -back in the day.
Your dinner looked fabulous!
Love your green/blue charm square, and your gingko shirt. Looks great on you !
What impressive art!
Trios is just the best, with quality you can always count on.
