Michael and I had breakfast together on Friday (7/16), a rare occurrence for a non-Sunday, before he settled down to watch golf and I headed to the studio. After getting my blog out, I got totally sucked into PINTEREST and spent TWO HOURS saving funny sayings, recipes for cookie cups and mouse cakes and pound cakes and quilts before I finally TORE myself away and started to load up another customer quilt. I got the backing done and the batting cut before my honey joined me in the afternoon. I headed upstairs just before dinner and had a long chat with Mary Lee. She’s got a bunch of stuff going on at work and I swear, her stories are better than watching a soap opera! Michael and I had another late dinner and just vegged the night away.

Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansen. This two hour and 15 minute movie took 45 minutes to make any sense to me. Lots of background info is thrown at the viewer and if you are not a Marvel comic world expert, you can get lost easily! When the plot makes sense you’ve got your evil villain trying to take over the world with a group of mind controlled “black

widows“, and our heroes doing their best to foil his plans! Plenty of great special effects, close quarter fights, and a sub plot of family dynamics. A very slow confusing start brings the rating down in my opinion. 3 fat quarters out of 5.
