Michael made me a breakfast sandwich on Sunday (12/4) before making gas housers for himself:
with the fresh bread.
After that I spent a couple of hours working on our Christmas newsletter, before loading up my first lavender backed quilt:
I had forgotten how much I liked this quilt...I need to pull together a pattern!
I got the quilting pattern set up, bobbins wound, and kicked it off:
I continued to work on it all day and by 6 PM, it was done:
Michael was making political calls from 6 – 8 PM, so I continued to work in the studio, starting to load up a second quilt:
We both had salads for dinner, and watched a bit of TV before bed.
Sorry I missed the STASH report at the first of the month….I used 15-1/4 yards of fabric in November. So, in 4 months (August through November), I’ve gotten rid of 78.85 yards of fabric from my stash….WHOO HOO!!!
And with Steven at the cabin....BG is roaring through her UFO's.....she had all of the blocks for this one done on retreat....but now they are all sewn together, with 2 borders added:
*** I don’t have an advent calendar, so I’m just opening cupboard doors at random and eating whatever’s in there. ***
I bet the gas housers were good with the fresh bread……mmmm
The lavender backing must be beautiful on that first quilt, I like that pattern too.
I heard a good one about an Advent calendar, the person said they didn’t normally drink every day but they got this wine tasting advent calendar and had to taste every day
