Iris's 2nd totally finished quilt, caramel corn, Janice's totally finished quilt

Donald Trump is becoming that dotard. More so — he's becoming that crotchety old relative you avoid at holiday gatherings. The grubby sexist who, when not ranting and spouting all manner of insults, falls asleep at the table. Can anyone pull him back? 'Quiet, piggy.' That was the slur heard round the world. Trump was apparently so rattled by Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey, who dared ask about the Epstein files, that he lashed out the way he used to — the reflexive, disgusting name-calling he reserves for women, replete with finger-pointing.

I was at Hobby Lobby when they opened on Monday (12/1) to pick up additional bags for my candy, plus a few other things on my list.  I texted Iris that I was on my way home…and she showed up shortly afterwards to begin the binding on her second quilt:

She got everything finished on the first side, and part of the second side done before she had to leave.

Michael was out golfing (even though it was FREEZING!!), so I headed to the TV room and knit for a couple of hours while watching….something!  When he came home he motivated me to get my caramel corn done:

-thank goodness he's always around to do my bagging up!

I finished up right at 5:30 PM and got to video chat with BG (that was lovely, we haven’t talked in FOREVER!!!), before settling in with pizza for dinner.

Iris arrived Tuesday morning (12/2) to continue working on her second quilt…..and by the time she left….she had a second TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT:

She is going to try to come to SHQ on Thursday, whatever time she can, for show and tell!  I am SO VERY PROUD of her....she has done an AWESOME job on these quilts!!!!

I continued to work on cutting for a new pattern.  I saw a Villa Rose pattern that I fell in love with, and was thrilled to find out I could order it on line and down load the directions:

I found fabric in my stash and have been cutting for a couple of days:

This will go in my project box for QUAP next year.

My honey left for his monthly Mustang meeting, and I knit the night away while watching CALL THE MIDWIFE.

I had a video chat with Janice Wednesday morning (12/3), then headed across the street for some blood work, then to electrolysis and was finally home around 1 PM.

Michael came home from golf with some interesting pictures from the course:

Was this person drunk?  Ill?  What?!?!?!  Driving on the golf course in a huge car and getting stuck in a sand trap!

We both spent a bit of time after that redding up the front bedroom, before he settled in to watch some UCONN basketball (both men and women) and I headed to the studio to continue cutting for my new pattern.

We tried to watch our PASSPORT app in the evening, but since we got a new firestick, it is not working  :~(.  So, yet another call to someone else about something that’s not working, and they'll call us back within the next 3 business days!

.  I forgot to post this pic of a beautiful baby quilt Janice just finished:

And 10 years ago.....

*** People out there living their lives and no one is addressing the fact that there is a "D" in fridge, but not in refrigerator! ***

*** I'm so glad I learned about parallelograms in high school instead of how to do my taxes. It comes in so handy during parallelogram season. ***

*** There's no need to drive me crazy.....I'm close enough to walk. ***
