We spent Friday morning (1/21) at Michael’s heart doctor for a routine follow-up appointment, and were home by 12:30 PM.
I got the rest of my customer quilt finished and trimmed before leaving for a massage. It was wonderful, the massage therapist has been working on stretching out my hip flexers to help with pain and tightness in my hips….I can really feel a difference by the time I leave.
WOW – my new customer certainly made me feel good…she came at 5 PM to pick up her quilt…she was thrilled with both the turnaround and the pattern (but that was not surprising as this is her first ever quilt), she gave me a BIG hug and even a tip!!! I decided I HAD to get a blog out before doing anything else, so that took awhile.
When I was done I relaxed and had a lovely chat with Mary Lee for a couple of hours. After that I spent just a bit of time working on projects for next week. Next week our basement carpet is being replaced, and the contractor said I will not have access to the basement for that week. So…that means no blogs….AND I need enough sewing projects to keep me busy upstairs (that is…if Michael is to have a not totally cranky wife!)
I got a label done:
and binding cut for the second quilt to be bound. By then it was 8:30 and I headed upstairs to read with Michael for a bit before TV and bed.
*** Elementary school kids have Iphones…when I was a kid, I put glue on my hands just so I could peel it off when it dried. ***
Please no crankiness as I will be golfless with this weather! so possible 2 cranky people!!
