I headed downstairs Tuesday morning (11/1) to get my blog out, while Cookie and Michael headed out for a walk. After that I got back to quilting, and also set up my embroidery machine to stitch out a label:
My honey made me breakfast:
before leaving for the chiro and by lunchtime, the second quilt was done:
Once again, the ''princess'' was on the pile 'o quilts (with her head totally upside down!):
I spent a bit of time in the afternoon starting to clean up the quilt before Michael and I left for Panera. We met for a couple of hours, with a woman who works at USC Lancaster, about establishing scholarships for some students. She seemed very knowledgeable and after we told her what we were looking for, she seemed confident that she could hook us up with the right people. Michal and I are very excited about this and continued to talk about it a bit after we got home. His tummy has still been bothering him, so he had yoghurt for dinner before leaving to pick up Larry and head out to the movies.
My friend Susan stopped by to pick up some items I was donating for a Christmas themed basket that will be raffled off for charity, and we ended up talking for over an hour. I think we have to set up some regular get togethers, as we always have so much to talk about when we DO get together :~).
After she left, I settled in with knitting and MIDSOMER MURDERS until my honey came home after 9 PM.
And here's AJ, dressed as ''mother earth'' for Halloween, and with the family:
*** HOW TO FOLD A FITTED SHEET
Step 1 – Stop giving a crap about folding fitted sheets….no one cares.
Step 2 – roll it into a ball and chuck it into a closet.
