The guy who promised to fix everything on day 1, is still trying to blame President Biden on day 580.

Friday (8/21) was spent loading up and quilting on Marvella’s arrow quilt:

and I finished the quilting part:

before leaving at 6:15 PM with my honey, picking up Karen, and heading to Fort Mill Community Playhouse for CRIMES OF THE HEART. It was a GREAT play….with 2 people we knew in the cast, and we enjoyed talking to them after the play before heading home.

We left the house at 8 AM Saturday morning (8/22) to pick up a breakfast sandwich to split from SUMO, and then head to Cotswold for an eye appointment….and we weren’t home again until 1 PM!! We love our doctor, but hate the amount of time every appointment takes :~(.
I got Marvella's quilt off of the frame and all cleaned up, and spent the rest of the afternoon loading up a new customer quilt (round this time....isn't it pretty?):

and starting the quilting on it.
Please ignore all of the clutter on the chair and focus on what's important and rare....our 2 kitties enjoying the SAME chair:

They used to be the best of friends when they were growing up, sleeping together and playing together, but as sometimes happens with sisters...they don't have much to do with each other now.
I made a ground beef casserole for dinner, and we headed over to Marvella and Greg's:

for a 6 PM game night: Mark and Diane were there as well:

and they insisted on a picture of us as well:

and we played 3 rounds of CUT THROAT Carbles….

pausing only to enjoy peanut butter laced brownies and sweet potato pie, before finally getting home after 11 PM!

I continued quilting on Sara’s table topper on Sunday morning (8/23), while also stitching out a label for Marvella (that I forgot to include!) and ironing all of the seams open on my Connections quilt.
Sara’s quilt was finally done by 4 PM, and I got all of the bobbin ends woven in and unpinned it from the frame by 5:

The pattern took a long time to stitch out…but I think it is perfect on the quilt…I really like it:

And 10 years ago....
*** I made a huge TO DO list today…..I just can’t figure out who is going to do it! ***
*** Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, other days you eat cupcakes and refuse to get out of your jammies.....it's called balance. ***
*** You know what was even more useful than the first telephone? A second telephone. ***
