We slept in a bit on Monday (2/19), just recovering from late nights over the weekend, but my honey still made me a smurfy English muffin sandwich before leaving for his first chance at golf in about 6 weeks. He left super early to hit the driving range to see how his ankle would fare while swinging a club and twisting his body.
I hit the studio and continued to work on the white quilt, while figuring out the blocks on my bed quilt. I am going to Janice’s on Thursday through Monday (so no blogs while I’m gone) and I need stuff to work on. I counted up all of my finished, and cut out but unfinished bed blocks and determined that I needed to cut for 24 more blocks….so I got that done and into my pizza box.
Darlene came by to pick up her second quilt and I continued working after that. I decided I needed to drop out of going to Machine Embroidery in the afternoon, as I want to finish up some customer quilts….plus get more cut for Janice’s and I have a busy week before I go. I continued to quilt on the white quilt, while cutting out some fabric for QoV’s. I LOVE having leaders and enders, but I do not take the time to get stuff set up so that I can complete them. I spent about 45 minutes trying to draw out a new pattern:
and then cutting fabrics to work on getting my strata done at Janice’s. If I can get the strata done, and cut, I will have PLENTY to put on my side table for leaders and enders.
A friend of mine who has the same long arm I do, thought that the basket was a good idea....and I wanted to give her a clearer picture of where it is on the frame. I guess because I'm right handed, I go to the right to change my bobbins, so that's where it is:
And I have GREAT pictures of Arizona Mary and her grandkids:
And here’s the cast from this weekend’s shenanigans:
*** Dear paranoid people who check behind their shower curtains for murderers....
If you do find one, what's your plan? ***
I wasn’t expecting your basket to be under there either, from the initial picture I thought it was up top
Love the funny today
Thanks for posting the picture of where that basket sits on your frame!!! That is not where I was thinking you out it! Looks great and is such a good idea for our machines!
