Fox News viewers have labeled Donald Trump a "stupid buffoon" after he shared an eerie warning with Americans.
On July 23, President Trump, whose marriage to Melania is at its lowest point for one humiliating reason, hosted an event at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) headquarters where he announced a major expansion of his "Ratepayer Protection Pledge," which he claims will lower energy costs for families. This initiative is explicitly designed to clear the path for building more data centers at a faster pace, something that has been strongly condemned by environmental and consumer watchdogs, as well as local communities.

I got the outside and final border on my new QoV on Tuesday (7/21) before we left for the funeral home:

I absolutely love this new pattern...and am sorry my picture looks like I took it with a fish eye lens!
We got our funerals all set and pre-paid (kinda morbid right? But making life a bit easier for those left behind!), made a quick stop at PUBLIX and were home by NOON.
Iris swung by to learn about piecing her back for her quilt and set up her sewing machine and got it all done.....her Easter quilt is ready to be quilted!!! It is absolutely beautiful….can’t wait for you all to see it.
I got Sandy’s second quilt loaded up:

and kicked off the quilting (It's much easier to see on the back....it really blends in on the front):

for the rest of the day.
The ''princess'' was watching/sleeping while I was working:

Michael left at 8 AM for golf on Wednesday (7/22), while I had a video chat with Janice in the morning. She sent me a great email recently with the subject line of ‘’I have found Nirvana…7 miles down the road’’ and the following pictures:

Yes….she said it is a beautiful quilt store and she is in love :~).
I got a little bit more quilting done on Sandy’s second quilt before leaving for a TWO HOUR massage….my gosh, I totally felt like a noodle when I was done!
I came home to a beautiful gift:

from Arizona Mary…and when Michael came home from golf we each had one….OMG!!!! So very moist and so very yummy! And speaking of Arizona Mary, look at the fabulous tote/purse she just finished:

BG and I got to video chat in the evening before dinner.
Michael and I had leftover One Pot Pasta for dinner and watched a variety of TV in the evening.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! This is the important part of my dressing for Thursday at quilting (7/23):

Michael packed the car and off I went….and he delivered my birthday cake around 10:30:

I got presents…and I got sang to…and in general I felt VERY lucky to have such wonderful friends :~).
I have to show you this picture of Shari - she came over to show me her blocks from class, and she is working with a fabric that is TERRIBLE.....shredding all over the place...check out her pants:

We had lovely show and tell:

-another top finished from the class I taught.....I am SO VERY PROUD of my students!!!

and when I got home at 3 PM, Michael and I both had cake!!!!
I headed downstairs after that and kicked off quilting….I now have 5 customer quilts on my list…with another one coming on Saturday….so I need to keep moving.
Iris and the girls came by around 5 PM…bringing lovely flowers, and they stayed for cake and a bit of modeling:

We still have a good deal left and I’m going to freeze it so that we can eat it at our leisure….everyone kept asking me about going out to dinner….but I was stuffed full of CAKE!!! I didn’t want to go out…..we will go out eventually, but not Thursday night!
Michael gave me my presents….a ROM_COM that we will watch on a date night, and a lovely cozy mystery book and we snuggled together the rest of the night….it was a perfect birthday!

We were slug-a-beds Friday morning (7/24) and didn’t get up until 8:30!!!!! Cookie would have never left us sleep that late….but I swear, Freya would stay in her crate without a peep until 10 AM if we let her :~).
I got going again on Sandy’s second quilt, and by early afternoon, it was done:

After that I got bobbin ends woven in and got it all trimmed and ready to go. I also started to put the first border on my purple crumb quilt, and started to scrounge around my re-claimed fabric to find enough for the second border.
And 10 years ago.....
