I forgot to say that Freya woke me in the wee hours of Saturday morning (8/19) at 1:30 AM and 4:30 AM….I took her outside and both times she pee’d!!!
I was up at 7:30 to do my bike ride…this time I made it up to the Lodge….hooray!!! I came home and fed Freya and checked on my honey, who not surprisingly is sore in additional places….and is really hurting :~(. The good news is, I fed Freya then headed downstairs.
Michael made an omelet and stayed in the kitchen with her. As he was finishing up eating…..Freya walked over to the front door….he took her out….and she pee’d and pooped!!! Yay and hooray…house breaking is working for now (not perfectly, but we’re getting there).
I loaded up another quilt from Pam:
unfortunately, my computer started going crazy :~(. So, I posted something on FB to see who I should call and tried to be patient while waiting for an answer. I got a couple of suggestions, which I tried….computer is still a little wonky, but at least I got a program set up and named and saved…something I couldn’t do before. I crossed my fingers and kicked off the quilting:
I like to pick a thread color that blends in to the colors on the quilt, but adds some interest to the background, and I think I did a good job here. I don’t think Pam likes very dense quilting, so I stretched this design out a bit. I had company all afternoon:
Marcia & Maury came over just before 6 PM, to stay with our pumpkin while we headed to Bo Jangles auditorium for an evening with Bill Maher….a political comedienne. I really didn’t know what to expect, but Michael was really hot to go….Bill was REALLY funny!!! Totally irreverent, not politically correct AT ALL….made us laugh a lot!
We were home by 10:30 and Marcia & Maury said they had a wonderful time…it was totally sweet of them to dog sit….and they got to love on our kitties, which was really nice because they recently lost their furbaby bunny. Michael and I read for about an hour before heading for bed.

Really love Pam's quilt! The colors are great and the and the quilting pattern looks very nice with it. Glad to hear that Freya is doing well with her 'potty' training. I hope Michael is also feeling better after his spill. It sounds like it could have really been very serious.
Pam is certainly prolific, another beautiful quilt!
Sorry, hon, he is a comedian…not comedienne!
