Happy Valentine’s Day!!! Michael took off for errands on Tuesday morning (physical therapy for his knee, chiro, Triple A for our cruise, the tropical smoothie place, library, CVS, Harris Teeter) and was finally home at 2 PM. I spent a bit of time in the morning, trying to get my CPAP supplies now that my insurance has changed as of January 1st....they're checking things out and they'll get back to me.....uh huh....sure.....I'm not holding my breath on that one….stay tuned!
The rest of the day (other than doing intake on a customer quilt) I was in the studio, working on this quilt:
There are 30 rows in the pattern, so it’s going to take a bit of time to get it all done.
I’m really struggling with my lack of a design wall for the other projects I’m working on (it is currently filled with the OBW…which will take a long time to sew together!) and Michael worked a bit on it in the afternoon:
I think at this point, it just needs a few tweaks...and then small setting triangles in black and I will be ready to start sewing it together.
We had the rest of the crab dip in crescents for our Valentine’s dinner:
and finished out the first season of VIENNA BLOOD for our viewing entertainment :~).

80 for Brady
Little did I know this delightful romp with 4 world class actresses: JaneFonda, Lily Tomlin, Sally Field and Rita Moreno; was based on a true story! Four retired friends try for one last adventure. They love football and Tom Brady since his rookie days. And as the women are all 80 (or close to it) and Brady is approaching 40 this could be their and his last hurrah! So off they go to the Super Bowl. Needless to say comedy ensues. There are mix ups aplenty and some sub plots with meaning that make this movie a hit.
Shall I say predictable but satisfying! 5 out of 5 fat quarters!
So ladies....anyone up for a matinee on Tuesday, Feb 28th if it's still playing at REDSTONE? Let me know and I will coordinate!
I’ve got blasts from the past for several days in a row…here’s the next one: https://foodandfiberfloozie.blogspot.com/2018/02/cookie-elsie-pat-cookie-aj-kate.html
