Billionaires are 20% richer than they were this time last year....are you 20$ richer?
Yeah, didn't think so...

We had a wonderful breakfast Sunday morning (9/28):

and I didn’t make it to the studio until around 11 AM. Marvella came by to pick up her quilt…and wanted to stay to watch me load up at a quilt, so I got Judy’s on the frame:

and then had to wait for my computer to sort itself out before I could begin setting up the program. Can anyone explain this to me…..I have my computer on AIRPLANE MODE, but somehow it is still accessing the internet for updates! I don’t want it to be updating!!! Sheesh!
I finally started stitching something out around 5 PM, (with Lucy as my faithful companion):

and just got one row done before joining my honey for meatloaf leftovers….yum….and TV.

My honey left around 9 AM on Monday morning (9/29), hoping to get in 9 holes before the rain hit. I headed to the studio to continue to quilt on Judy’s quilt and look for some specific fabric in my stash.
I could have sworn I still had some white-ish fabric with golf balls, but I couldn’t find it on any of my stash cards. I was looking for it because everything is going to be dropped while I make an unexpected quilt. Remember we had a meeting with our financial planner rep last week? Well, he had surgery at the beginning of the summer, and let’s just say that his recovery has not been as going as well as he had hoped. When we got off of the call, I looked at Michael and said “I sent a quilt to the guy who services our furnace when I found out he had liver cancer….I’ve definitely gotta make a quilt for Rick’’. The one thing Rick mentioned was golf….so I ordered some golf fabric, and as soon as it gets here, I will start a quilt for him.
I worked on Judy’s quilt all day, and finished it up just before dinner. Michael left around 5 PM to try out for a radio play in Rock Hill, while I knit a bit while watching TV, waiting for him to get home.

I was excited Tuesday morning (9/30) as my golf fabric had arrived with the mail on Monday:

and I was eager to get started. Of course I'm doing a BQ pattern, as I can whip that out quite handily....and I still have fleece to put on the back (although it will be stressful as the quilt will be wider than I like to use with fleece), but I'll worry about that when it is time to quilt it :~).
My honey took Freya for a short walk while I headed to the studio. I finally got fed up with the problems I’ve been having with my TV downstairs, so when Michael came home, he got on the phone with COMPORIUM (our computer/WIFI provider). He was on the phone for about 45 minutes when they finally decided they needed to send a tech. The tech arrived 45 minutes later, and checked out all of our wiring. Seems like many of the wires and switches in the panel in our front hall closet were very worn and breaking, and he fixed all of those, and gave us his phone number in case we continued to have problems.
In the meantime, the jewelry store called and my ring was finally ready, so around 3 pm, Michael and I took off to pick it up. It really looks beautiful….but very different from my old ring, so I have to get used to it!
We decided to go out for an early dinner, so hit Juniper Grill on the way home for shrimp/crab enchiladas….yum!!!
Once we got home, Michael had just a bit of time to pull his stuff together before Larry picked him up for the movies, and I spent a lot of the evening in the studio, with another faithful companion:

My golfing fabric arrived Monday evening, so that’s what I was working on:

It's October 1st and I’m making my fabric report. As you read yesterday, I did order 3 yards of golf fabric for a special quilt. The other 2 colors needed to go with it will come from my stash.
Michael headed out to golf Wednesday morning (10/1), while I headed to the studio…continuing to work on the golf quilt:

And that’s where I was all day! Michael wanted to watch the Red Sox/Yankee game in the evening (he had taped it) so I continued to work on the quilt, and by the time I was ready to head upstairs…the top was done:
