There is no longer any reason to believe any numbers that come out of tRUMP’s regime. Not on jobs, inflation, unemployment, trade or GDP. He’s cooking the books to hide the collapse…just as he did in his businesses to defraud taxpayers, lenders, and investors.
tRUMP didn't fire Dr. Erika McEntarfer because she manipulated America's job numbers....he fired her so that he can find someone who WILL.

So, here it is….another month…..Friday, August 1st – and I am THRILLED to say that I didn’t buy or receive for free ANY fabric in July…the streak continues!!!
I headed to the studio to get Linda’s quilt loaded up:

and kicked off the quilting:

I haven’t used this quilting pattern since I did a pool table cover for Michael and I LOVE how fun it looks on Linda’s quilt!
While that was stitching, I was also working on attaching binding to another quilt (note where the binding roll is...conveniently out of the way on the thread spindle):

Michael and I headed to the Lake House around lunchtime, me to go water walking with Susan and Michael to work out.
And I'm not sure I ever posted this.....all of the prairie points for Iris's 2 quilts are done:

I was up early Saturday (8/2) to make ‘’ham & pickle ''(aka ham salad to everyone else) for my honey.
After that it was continuing to work on Linda’s quilt and my new binding. That took up the rest of the day…although I did finally finish off Michael’s new range finder pouch (old one on the left and newly finished on the right):

It is truly amazing to me how much that pouch fades over the course of time he is using it!

Sunday morning (8/3) I hopped up and got peanut butter cookie dough put together:

I want to bake cookies to take to the upholstery guy who changed my tire, so now I’m ready whenever he calls. After that I got ingredients set out to come to room temperature for a chocolate cake (the cookie stuff was out overnight) before heading to the studio.
I got the quilting done on Linda’s quilt (I LOVE how it looks):

before leaving for water walking with Susan.
I read my book for a bit when I got home and finally put together the cake batter and got it baked:

While it was cooking I got Linda’s ends sewn in and got the quilt off of the frame.
Finally, around 7 PM, the cake was cool enough and I finally got it put together:

I have just had a hankering for chocolate cake or brownies for the past several days….so now we have something to munch on….and it is terrific:
