OMgoodness….Michael and I must really be exhausted….I took the dog out at 8 AM, and all of us fell back asleep until after 9AM on Sunday (10/31). We were moving v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y, but I finally made it to my studio around 11 AM.
I got my blog out and then headed back to the longarm….dreading what might happen today! I slowed down the speed on my machine, and it seemed to minimize, but not totally cure the thread breaks. I think I just got a bad spool of thread…it happens….unfortunately this is the only cone of this color that I have, so I just went slowly and finally, after several more breaks, I was done quilting by 4:30.....now to weave in all of the extra thread breaks :~(.
I had a customer come by to pick up a quilt and visit for a bit. She has been wanting to bring her partner for a long time…and he was finally able to come today.
I don’t know why (probably sleeping so late) but I felt like I still had a bit of energy, so I headed back downstairs and got another strip done on the HST quilt:
Michael and I had soup for dinner, and relaxed and watched TV for the rest of the evening.
Arizona Mary spent Halloween with her daughter...and their furry kids:
*** Every woman’s dream is that a man will take her in his arms, throw her onto the bed….and clean the whole house while she sleeps. ***
Perfect choice of quilt pattern and thread. The quilt itself is still the star!!
