Michael left for golf on Monday (3/14) after making me breakfast, even though it was a ‘’balmy’’ 38 degrees!!! I finally headed to the studio to quit procrastinating about quilting. I know I’ve mentioned before that I still get nervous before starting every customer quilt…and that translates into stalling….but by 10 AM I was quilting. I love the pattern that Sandy chose; it is absolutely gorgeous:
but it takes a long time to stitch out, so I figured I’d better get started or the quilt would never be done…and I already have 2 more customer quilts to do in my house!
While that was stitching out, I worked a bit more on my own new quilt (which is the same pattern as Sandy's). I got all of my focus fabric stratas sewn, and about half of them cut:
I stitched until 6 PM and was 2/3 of the way done with Sandy’s quilt. We had ARBY’s fish sandwiches for dinner and I went to bed early as I had been feeling VERY tired and my nose ran ALL DAY!!!
*** I’m a quilt-a-holic on the road to recovery.
JUST KIDDING…
I’m on the road to a quilt store! ***
I think the time change had something to do with your tiredness. I couldn't keep my eyes open while driving Monday and pulled over in a neighborhood and took a cat nap. I felt better after that but I was dragging all day. Oh, Sandy 's feathers is always a nice quilting pattern. Can't wait to see it finished.
