Retreat at The Castle

I was very fortunate to be invited to join a group of ladies on a fall retreat last week and we had a blast!

and one outlier, but very welcome and former SHQ member, Janice:

Our accommodations were unbelievable.....truly it was a castle....so spacious and roomy with a wonderful set up for sewing/cutting/ironing:

She even had a ship's type bell that you could ring when you were ''on the board''....and it was rung a LOT over the week:

-2 of these table runners were totally finished...layered, quilted and bound....

Our meals were wonderful, the camaraderie was excellent, laughs a aplenty and we even got to play FIVE CROWNS one evening, with Janice as the far and away lowest WINNER!

I am so grateful that I was asked to join this group....we've already booked our time away for next year!
