Michael left Wednesday (3/13) for all sorts of errands, while I was SKYPE-ing with Janice. I spent the rest of the day working on Sandy’s quilt and continuing to sew together blocks for our bed quilt. We had a quick ZOOM session with AJ (as it was her birthday) and I made another reubenwich just for us for dinner:

PI Day!!!! I hopped up early on Thursday (3/14) and put together 2 peach cream pies for PI day…..I haven’t made these pies in at least 20 years. I used to make them for my bosses birthday at Travelers in September. I would get up early, bake the 2 pies, put them in my double-decker pie basket and hop on the bus to work. The smell would eventually permeate the bus…making everyone pretty crazy :~).
Anyway, I took one to quilting and left one at home.
I took a bow making class at quilting
and it should be no surprise to anyone who really knows me that I was the remedial bow student…..my non-existent ‘’talents’’ definitely need work :~).
We had terrific show and tell:
and when I got home after 2 PM, the weather was so lovely that I sat out on the lanair for a couple of hours. I had a quilting customer come by to consult on a label she wants….and we ended up talking for TWO HOURS!
Michael got home 2 minutes before our neighbors came down for pieces of pie…and then we relaxed for the rest of the night.

I had time to get one pass done on Sandy’s quilt on Friday morning (3/15) before leaving for my second wreath class. Peggy (who was teaching the class) is a sweetheart of a woman and I think my wreath has been vastly improved with her help:
When my honey saw it.....he kept saying ''It's so beautiful....is it too early to hang it on the door''?
I couldn’t quilt when I got home due to the thunderstorm that had moved in….so I just putzed in my studio until it was time to get changed and picked up by Ed & Carol for our foray into Charlotte, to the Knight Theatre:
for MOMIX (I cannot figure out how to post a link to the correct place on YOUTUBE, but it is well worth it to go to YOUTUBE.com and search MOMIX….their programs are unexplainable and unbelieveable!!!) Ed and Carol had never seen them, and Michael and I love to introduce new people to MOMIX 9and PILOBOLUS….although it’s been years since we’ve seen Pilobolus). It was a wonderful evening and we are excited to go to Theatre Charlotte again with them in a week or so.

Junes quilt with those tiny little squares….awesome!
Beautiful picture
I absolutely LOVE your Christmas wreath! The little snowman is the cutest! All of the quilts this week are lovely, especially the Easter themed ones. You and Michael look great on your way to the theater! I am so jealous of all of your blooming flowers in Charlotte. Here, the daffodils are in full bloom, but not the tulips. The peach cream pies look fantastic. I am making a Reuben sandwich for dinner tonight, but not as good as your Reuben-wich. Yummy!
