Saturday & Sunday, totally finished quilt

Although it was still frigid outside, my honey left for golf just after 9 AM Saturday morning. I finished getting my blog out, then worked on binding another quilt:

Two of my babies were basking in the sun while I worked:

I finally stopped around 10:30 to have a bit of breakfast, take a quick shower, and head on over for a massage….HEAVEN!!!

I was home before 2 PM and continued to work on my binding. My honey came home in the afternoon and immediately went back to finishing up 2 cards he has been working on...a wedding card for his cousin in Mobile:

and a Thankgiving card for AJ:

I finished up my binding just before dinner…and got my label stitched down…for another TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT (3 down, 3 to go :~):

This is part of my ''men's series of quilts''!

Michael and I had potato soup for dinner, and I continued to rip out and re-claim fabric while we watched TV in the evening.

Sunday morning (11/20) started with yummy waffles and my honey's perfect potatoes:

then continued with more binding:

I got the binding put on the first side….and pressed out…and decided to join my honey in the studio.

I brought home a gray storage bin from Scrap Happy, full of quilt tops and backs…I decided it was time to check it out and see what needed to be done. I got the first quilt out and it was very wrinkled, so I got it pressed, and got the backing loaded before it was time to eat a bit of potato soup for dinner, and head into Charlotte for a VERY early performance.

We saw THE ILLUSIONISTS….

a fabulous 5 member group of magicians/illusionists/mentalists, etc from all over the world. They were absolutely wonderful and intriguing and mystifying and very, very funny as well. We both enjoyed the evening quite a bit, and when we got home before 10 PM, just read our books for awhile before bed.
