My honey made me breakfast on Thursday (1/19) before driving me to quilting, as he needed the car for golfing off-site. I got a bit of sewing on my blocks before the business meeting and show and tell:
-the back of the quilt above
-and again, another back
-new friend Diane, who has joined Scrap Happy, showing a quilt she made for her hubby
-so, in Paula's other quilting group, someone handed out these tiny plastic boxes....Paula told one of the other ladies that they must be project boxes, so the woman made 2 TEENY TINY 4 patches for Paula to keep in her project box. I asked Paula to put her hand down for scale....don't forget to notice the lovely color on the polish!
Susie gave me a ride home early because I wanted to get started on Sandy’s second quilt….which has been languishing for 2 days on the frame!
Michael left for 9 holes of golf just as I got home (coming home at 5 PM with a 42 and 1 birdie...oh dear....it's only when I am putting these pictures in the blog and can see them in a larger size that I realize I didn't give my phone a chance to focus :~(
and I headed downstairs and got a 2 day blog out before starting in on Sandy’s quilt:
I got 5 rows done before stopping at 7 PM for dinner (a salad and my leftover chicken from THAT”S AMORE) and watching TV with my honey. I had hoped to knit, but I think I just basically dozed through the evening until bed!
*** Remember, if you lose a sock in the dryer….it comes back as a Tupperware lid that doesn’t fit any of your containers. ***
Pictures out of focus but our life is in focus!
