SHQ Show & Tell 6/23/2022

This will be the last blog entry for who knows how long as my knee replacement surgery is today (6/24). See you on the other side....

I SKYPE’d with Janice Wednesday morning (6/22), and by the time I got my blog out and got caught up on all of my emails and calls to doctors, it was after NOON. I had a call from my gastro doctor and I do have H. Pylori in my stomach…the bacteria that causes ulcers. He is calling in a prescription for an antibiotic and wants to see me in 3 – 4 months, to see if my iron level is better. Apparently, H. Pylori has a negative effect on iron absorption.

My catalogued fabric is still pretty organized as I keep up with my cards when I use it:

but since I’ve been shopping at Corinne’s, I have a LOT fabric that is not on cards…and it’s definitely out of control. So, I spent several hours grouping all like colors together and re-folding and getting it back on the shelves:

I didn’t get it all finished, but decided that I wanted to layout my new blue blocks, so that’s what I spent a bit of time on for the rest of the afternoon and early evening:

I was up and out Thursday (6/23) after my honey packed the car for quilting. We had a good time…but I was sad that I won’t be back for who knows how long. We didn’t have a lot of show and tell, but it was all good:

I headed to the dialysis center in Lancaster after that to drop off 3 more quilts:

and by the time I got home at 3 PM, I was really pooped.

I put together dough for sandwich bread, and while it was rising I took a quick nap. I got the bread baked:

then headed out to HABIT BURGER around 7 PM for dinner for us. We just relaxed and watched TV for the rest of the night.
