It was another wonderfully cool morning (58 degrees outside!!!) when I got up on Thursday (9/15). I got my blog out and had a quick breakfast before trying to pull together everything I needed to take to quilting. One of my longarm customers, Diane, decided to come and check us out! I hope she decides to join....she seemed to have a lot of fun. We had great show and tell:
and I got to finish several piddly little projects.
Paula and I headed to dialysis in Lancaster to drop off 2 ''men's quilts'' after that, and I got to talk to Loris for just a bit. I asked how the supply was holding out, and she said it was good as she hadn't had any new patients in awhile (I said that was GOOD!), but she mentioned that she just got a new woman in that morning, and when she gave her a quilt...the woman just lit up...and couldn't believe it...she was so happy!!!
After the dialysis place, we decided to search out the new Lancaster Library building, and found out where they were hanging my quilt:
I was really glad to see it up, as I had heard that they didn't have it hanging. You know how we have a dog outside of our library? Well, Lancaster has a cat:
I was home just after 3 PM, and I was SO VERY GRATEFUL when Michael told me that the director indicated that I didn’t have to go to the pick up rehearsal tonight….YAY!!!!!!
I worked on quilting for a bit before Michael and I stopped for leftovers for dinner, and he left for rehearsal.
For everyone who did NOT see Michael’s comment on yesterday’s blog…his golf score was an 85 (NOT an 88 as previously reported). I guess I should have woken him up to confirm before I pressed publish :~).

Thanks…but at any time any score could sky rocket! That’s golf!
Love the quilt with blocks!
I thought that 88 score was kind of high for Michael but I didn’t want to say anything 😂
