President Donald Trump deleted an image he shared on social media that depicted him as Jesus Christ after it sparked backlash — including from some evangelical and conservative allies. He later said he thought the AI-generated image was showing him as "a doctor."
Really???? He thought he looked like a doctor? And what sense does that even make? And The Republicans STILL keep doubling down on him.

Thursday (4/9) was a whirlwind day as I was trying to recover from the time change from Arizona, but I did make it to Scrap Happy and there was beautiful show and tell:
-this quilt is reversible

The next quilt is a raffle quilt....tickets are $1 apiece or 6 for $5:

*****************************************
The first order of business Friday morning (4/10) was to get my HST quilt off of the frame and weave in the ends:

I have 3 customer quilts…and 3 days with nothing on my calendar…and Michael will be busy watching THE MASTERS….so I hope to knock out those 3 quilts :~). I got a label made for the HST:

and got everything trimmed and on the TO_BE_BOUND pile before loading up the first of my remaining 3 customer quilts:

I worked on that all day…I needed to keep a close eye on it as there was a lot of bias stretch that needed manipulating to keep pleats away….and I still needed one more pass by the time I quit for dinner.
I had some backyard visitors just as I was getting ready to go upstairs:
Michael and I binge-watched the last 3 episodes of season 4 of DARK WINDS in the evening…..WHAT a STORY!!!
*****************************************
Saturday morning (4/11) I hustled down to the studio to get the first customer quilt finished:

and the second one loaded:

Michael worked all day in the front garden, getting everything planted:

-these roses EXPLODED while I was in Arizona

I worked on that second customer quilt all day (along with cutting squares for another QoV) and by dinnertime, the quilting was done!
Michael and I both decided we had had enough noise for the day, so we sat in the living room and read our library books, until finally watching a cooking competition show and going to bed.
*******************************************************
Sunday morning (4/12) we were up early to get crème brulee made:

before I headed to the studio and Michael eventually settled in to watch the final of THE MASTERS.
I got the third customer quilt loaded up (you KNOW I love this one!!!):

and kicked off the quilting:

I had just a bit of a thread breaking problem, and kept putting sewers aid on my thread and eventually I got through it. I pushed myself and was really exhausted by dinnertime…but it was done:

And, another GET WELL card from my honey (for me to send to a fellow quilter):

And 10 years ago....(well, I totally forgot to put any of these into the last post...did anyone notice? So, you've got extras this time)
-Food and Fiber Floozie: Cookie & Michael, Shirley's 1st quilt finished, Shirley's 3rd quilt started
*** Remember how when you were little you could just rip off your diaper and run around naked and everyone thought it was cute and funny? Anyway, I need bail money. ***
*** I"m pretty sure I was the total package once....but shipping and handling damaged me...now I'm a scratch 'n' dent item....sold AS-IS. ***
*** I asked my hubby if he remembers what today is.....scaring men is easy :~). ***

I love all of your new customer quilts! The colors are great. The creme brulees look pretty fantastic too! Your roses are looking good!
