Totally finished quilt - charms on point

Michael left early for a routine doctor’s appointment on Tuesday morning (8/17). He was running errands after that to ALDI’s, the chiro, the peirogi store (no luck…darn!), the library, and the vitamin store.

I was in the kitchen finishing up binding on another quilt, with Cookie sleeping on the next chair:

Michael had perfect timing, he got home as I put the last stitch in, so was able to hold it for pictures :~):

I had PT in the afternoon…and this session was with the PT assistant, who I happen to like much better. I was feeling kind of down about my progress and she shared 2 thoughts that really made a difference!

When I got home I got a bit more quilting done on my second fleece quilt:

Michael and I were literally on our way out the door to pick up dinner at PATTY AND THE DOGS (a hot dog truck at the Lodge), when fortunately Paula called to tell us it wasn’t there. So, we headed over to HABIT BURGER for yummy burgers and fried green beans. I did a bit more quilting after dinner, and also talked to Mary Lee for 1-1/2 hours. She has put in a bid on a house (in Burnsville, NC) and it has been accepted….please cross your fingers for my friend that all goes well…the real estate market is TOTALLY CRAZY right now!

We finished off the evening as we did Monday night...one episode of ORDEAL BY INNOCENCE and then the semi-final of the GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW, season 8.
