My honey cut me a perfect rose:

before I hopped up Wednesday morning (8/25) so that I could get through my emails and get my blog out before SKYPE-ing with Janice at 9 AM. We talked until 10:30…and I had a bite of breakfast before talking with Mary Lee for about an hour. We finished up just in time for me to hop in the shower, get dressed, and head across the street for my first massage since my shoulder surgery….heaven!

When I got home, Connie came by for a visit:

and to check out the raspberry squares…which she thought were perfect :~).

After she left, I went back to binding my quilt and by the time I stopped for dinner…I had another TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT:

I SKYPE-d with BG for almost 2 hours after dinner, then Michael and I watched another episode of THE BEAST MUST DIE (WAY WAY TENSE!!!) before a half hour of MASH and then bed.

*** ATTENTION….ATTENTION…The flights have been booked, the recipes are being culled and ingredients are being bought. The BAKING WITH INEZ 2021 TOUR will commence on September 17th and run through September 24th. Some (all?) of what we are making will create too many servings just for our household, so if you would like to be invited to taste test when we have too much food, please let me know in the next couple of days. I will start a list and you will be on it!!!
