I hopped up Tuesday morning (11/22) and got my label stitched down for another totally finished quilt:
You know what this means….4 down and 2 to go from the to-be-bound pile! All of the same fabrics were used for the last 2 quilts…just different patterns:
I think they look different enough....don't you?
Michael and I took off after breakfast for shopping…me to Hobby Lobby and Aldi’s and him to BJ’s. We talked on the phone to see the best prices for everything and eventually made it home with almost everything I need to start large scale candy making over the Thanksgiving weekend:
I read my book in the afternoon for a bit before making my way to the studio to finish quilting on the first quilt from SHQ:
Michael and I stopped for dinner, then he wanted to settle in with popcorn and YELLOWSTONE, while I headed downstairs to pull out the second quilt from SHQ. This one needed the backing pieced before I could do anything else, so I got that done, and loaded the backing onto XENA. Once again it was really wrinkled, so I sprayed it and wound it on my bottom roller to get some of the wrinkles out. I had company all evening:
In the meantime, my attempt at a new QoV pattern didn’t work…so I spent the rest of the evening ripping out half of the blocks I had sewed.
