Sometimes I forget how rich I am….
-my hot water works on a dime
-my a/c works when I need it too
-I can go to any grocery store & purchase what I please to eat
-I have a clean kitchen to cook in
-I have a clean shower to bathe in
Sometimes I forget I am beyond blessed.

Michael left for golf here at SCCL around 9:30 AM Wednesday morning (11/2) and by then I was already SKYPE-ing with Janice…..we will be together next Monday as that is the first day of the FIBER FLOOZIE RETREAT!!!!! Bg, Leila, Mary Jo, June, Janice and I will all be in Hagerstown, Maryland….piecing our brains out! So, be warned…no blogs next week!
I made my way downstairs after SKYPE-ing and eating breakfast and continued to clean up one of the religious quilts. I got it all trimmed, and on the towering pile of quilts to-be-bound (there will be 6 there when I finish the second religious quilt....I think I'll stop then and concentrate on binding!!):
before spending quite a bit of time reclaiming the fabric so that I could make labels:
and cutting binding strips for the quilts. Lucy spent the time hunkering down in the dog's bed (her new favorite place):
My honey came home at 3:30 PM, very happy with his THA-REE….count ‘em…THA-REE birdies :~). He spent some time getting caught up on his emails, then took a quick shower and headed back to the club house for some kind of presentation. The men’s club (what Michael golfs with most Wednesdays)was celebrating giving over $100,000 to Eagle Rock, a place that helps veteran’s families.
We had pizza for dinner and I spent a bit more time in the studio, getting blue batik cut for more HST’s to do a bit more work on my fifth ‘’blues’’ quilt.
*** You really gotta hand it to short people….mainly because they can’t reach it! ***
Wow ! How did they raise 100,000 in the men's golf league ?!
I too feel blessed 🙂
Lucy looks so cute in there!
