We had a leisurely breakfast Wednesday morning (1/12) before heading downstairs to get the quilt loaded:
AZ Mary got it all basted while I was helping Juanita (quilting customer) with a problem on her new quilt, and then AZ Mary settled in to pick out a pattern:
I had gotten several texts from a woman who is weaving a basket for me….she sent me several pictures, as she had finished it:
and AZ Mary really liked it, so Tracey (basket lady) agreed to do a second basket for me, and we headed out to pick up the first one so that AZ Mary could take it home. She had other baskets for sale....Connie, here are the pics:
Her prices are incredibly reasonable.
We were home by 3 PM and finally ready to start quilting:

stopped by to pick up her quilt and have some rum cake, and Connie:
stopped by for a hug and to meet AZ Mary and to have some rum cake. They left around 5 PM and we quilted for a bit more and I got my final blocks done:
(I'm sure it will need a border to hit the size I want), before pausing for dinner:
AZ Mary noticed that I used to put the tomatoes on top of the cheese…and now put them underneath….wonder when/why I started doing that? We relaxed in the evening and talked and talked and talked!!

cheese should always be the last topping before baking. Got to try a drizzle of balsamic next time I make a pizza.
