I got my blog out Sunday morning (8/28) before finally finishing all of the background squares for the blue chandelier:
After that I fired up XENA to continue quilting, and got out some blue batik fabric to make the setting and corner triangles for chandelier:
I had hoped to finish the quilting on my customer quilt, but when I quit at 7 PM, I still had one more pass to do. Luckily, I’ve learned that working on this stuff when I am tired is not the smart thing to do. While the quilting was going on, I started to sew my blocks into rows:
Michael and I had leftover pizza for dinner, and settled in to watch GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. I finally finished knitting on my gray alpaca scarf….and got all of the ends woven in. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow...
And Mary Jo has pulled out her Bonnie Hunter UFO, and is working on getting that done:

The blue border on the chandelier quilt - nicely frames it !
Love the chandelier quilts.. cant wait to make one!
Love the colors of Mary Jo's quilt. Stunning, I also like the blue edging of your chandelier quilt. It makes it pop.
I like BLUE!!
