My honey slept way late on Saturday (11/4) after the cast went out to celebrate opening night on Friday night. Michael said the opening night audience was great and the play went off without a hitch :~). Music to my ears after the les-than-stellar rehearsals for all of H_LL week!
I spent a bit of time putting together Camelitas for the cast….I was going to send them for Saturday night, but all of the comments on the recipe said they were better the next day….so they’ll be going in for the Sunday matinee:
With just a few left over :~):
I spent the rest of the day working on my QoV:
And finally by 7 PM, I had all of the blocks sewn together and pressed into columns:
I spent the rest of the night ripping a bit, and then re-knitting on my shrug….I have divided for the side seam opening….but my brain didn’t register that the last time I knit….so that had to be corrected before I could continue. I watched several episodes of TRANSPLANT while I was knitting…does anyone else watch it? It is absolutely criminal how long that guy's eyelashes are…they are WASTED on a guy!!!
And check out this GORGEOUS christening gown knitted by Arizona Mary for her newest grandchild:
*** My friend said she wouldn't eat cow's tongue because it came out of a cow's mouth....so I gave her an egg. ***
Beautiful work on the Christening gown. Wish my granddaughter would get her wish and I'd get a great grandchild to knit for ❤️
Fabulous christening gown! Would you share the recipe for the carmelitas? They look wonderful.
That christening gown is amazing & will be a family heirloom. ~~And please tell “Mr. Arthur Vance” he was incredible in the play! My jaws are actually sore from laughing so much!
Beautiful christening gown AZ Mary !
I keep waiting for the day I can reach into my screen and try a carmelita !
