Champagne & Puffy things

I took a quick shower Wednesday morning (6/7) and Michael made me breakfast:

before I got my blog out. I was feeling a tiny bit stressed…as I had many small things in my mind that I wanted to get done, so I did what always calms me down when I’m trying to remember too many things….I took a few minutes and made a TO DO list (in no particular order):

-TSA pre-check

-theatre charlotte season tix

-card for Dale

-Friday lunch reservation

-cut flower fabric for Pam

-do I have a hold at the library

-atrium bill for Michael

-QoV write-up

-COVID 19 booster

before I SKYPE-ing with Janice at 9 AM. We talked until quarter of 11, then I took off for my massage. I explained to Briana (masseuse) that I have been having a lot of pain in my lower back, probably due to all of the adjustments the chiro is making to get my spine back in alignment. She spent most of our time manipulating my glutes and stretching them out, and told me to be sure to ice my back when I got home. She also said I MUST incorporate some stretching routine into my day….sigh….I know she is 100% right…but getting me to do it is a real struggle.

I was home by early afternoon and had lunch with my honey (a totally rare and unexpected occurrence) before starting to work on my list. Michael and I tackled the TSA pre-check on-line appointment, and discovered that we are too late to really do anything about it :~(. From there, we moved onto season tickets for Theatre Charlotte…we discussed and agreed on which plays in the season we want to see…and I sent off an email with some questions I have before we buy. Then Michael checked out his Atrium (medical bill) and gave me the date of service (when I pay any of our medical bills, I always note the date of service in the checkbook….because sometimes you get multiple bills for the same date). I checked the checkbook, and paid the bill on-line. Next up was scheduling the bivalent booster for COVID-19, which Michael and I wanted to get before our cruise. Well…that was half an hour of answering questions on line, with Michael making numerous trips up and down the stairs to get our vaccination records and our MEDICARE cards. I found we could schedule our shots for 4 PM today, so Michael headed upstairs to get in a shower before we left. I made a reservation for our lunch on Friday, and it was time to leave for the shots at CVS. So, in between my massage, and leaving for the vaccine shot, I got quite a few things checked off:

-TSA pre-check - done (unsuccessfully)

-theatre charlotte season tix - almost done

-card for Dale

-Friday lunch reservation - done

-cut flower fabric for Pam

-do I have a hold at the library - done

-atrium bill for Michael - done

-QoV write-up

-COVID 19 booster – done

We were home by 5 PM and decided for a variety of reasons, that we needed a celebration dinner…..so you know what that means:

Good job on getting all those things done ! BTW, your photo of your breakfast sandwich looks great against the blueberry background. Maybe you can do a few stretches when M does his in the morning ?
