Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength—carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength. Corrie ten Boom

I had a bunch of mail to take care of Monday morning (10/31), so I didn’t make it to the studio until 11 AM. My honey left around then for a couple of errands (post office, Food Lion…and as a surprise, to a new donut shop in Fort Mill :~).
I got my bobbins wound and kicked off quilting on religious quilt #1:
I’m just doing a very open stipple pattern as I don’t want to interfere too much with the embroideries. I worked on that for several hours, and got it finished:
Then I loaded up the second quilt:
By then it was dinnertime and I headed upstairs for a new recipe called ‘’Chicken Pot Pie Noodle Skillet’’.
Michael said it was excellent and should go in our regular rotation of dinners :~).
I wanted to sew a bit more, so we separated for an hour or 2 and I got the quilting started on the second quilt, and got all of my Cleveland fabric blocks sewn together into rows:
Since there are now 4 quilts on the to-be-bound pile, the ''princess and the pea'' kitty was back to sleeping there:
STASH REPORT
I've used up 38-1/4 yards of fabric in October...although about 22 yards of that was donated to SEW MUCH FUN (still...it's outta my house!)

Deb, the Chicken Pot Pie Noodle Skillet looks great! Can you send me the recipe? By the way, I love the colors in the Cleveland fabric quilt. It reminds me of being at the beach or on a Caribbean island. Wish I was at either.
can you send link for recipe ?
