Michael left before 9 AM on Saturday (12/3) for golf here at SCCL, and I got the centers for my peanut butter patties all mixed up and in the fridge. After about an hour, I got them flattened, and then put them in my big freezer to get rock solid before dipping.
I got busy on the new quilt after that, and by early afternoon, it was done:
I had ''granny'' company while I was working:
I headed upstairs to get bread made as we were totally out, and Paula stopped by for a great visit right before it came out of the oven….
so she stayed for a small piece! Michael ran half a loaf down to our neighbors, who were so kind to have him over for a meatloaf meal while I was on retreat.
I went back to the studio after that, to get the new quilt cleaned up and off of the frame. Then I found some lavender fabric that I think will work with 2 of my quilt tops in the closet, so I got it pieced and loaded before heading upstairs at 6:30 PM. I am still nervous about all of the quilts at dialysis being gone (but one) so I'm going to try to kick my production into high gear!
It was a reprise of Friday night with champagne and puffy things for dinner once again before settling in for the 3 remaining hours of ANNIKA….an EXCELLENT PBS production…we can hardly wait for the next season!
BG’s Arizona Mary top is all done and it is gorgeous:
And another blast from the past....the weird thing is....I have absolutely NO memory of the pictured quilt:

Love the advent calendar funny !
And BGs quilt too !
Cookie looks so forlorn but warm. BG's quilt lookd great. Love the dark border, brings out the color in the quilt.
Did cookie wrap herself up? Or did you have a hand in it?
