Happy Valentine’s Day!!! First up was opening a hand made card from friend Susan:
Then it was off to pick up Sandy, Pat and Laura and head to FOUST. We all had a wonderful time…and got lots of goodies: (that’s around $1200.00 of merchandise for the 4 of us):
before heading to Bahn Thai where Judy met us for lunch:
-Sandy, Pat, Laura, me, Judy
Even though no one else had been there....everyone said they liked their meal....so that was good!
I got home from Foust/lunch around 2:30 and SKYPE-d with Janice until 4:30.
Darlene swung by around 5 PM to pick up her quilt and she was THRILLED with it…..I was very happy as I had steered her towards the darker thread for her design…and she really liked it.
I spent a bit of time getting out a blog before stopping for a romantic Valentie's dinner of champagne & puffy things:
-fried mozzarella
-egg rolls
And my FOUST purchases:
-rainbow layer cakes
-QoV blue and white dots for Janice
-2 tones of cork fabric to go with men's jelly rolls, and some white tone-on-tone for me
-men's jelly rolls
-more pins for my long arm
-rainbows for me and BG
-new QoV print
and a bolt of black tone-on-tone for June

You know I’ve been sewing blocks together for our first new bed quilt….and I was missing a block…..I looked everywhere for it, but couldn’t find it. Thursday (2/15) was quilting and it was attached to my machine!!! I didn’t take my machine last week (remember, I was working on cleaning up the first king-sized quilt I did), so I was VERY GLAD to find it…
I had to go to my scrap bucket to dig out the other parts to the missing block!
We had a ton of wonderful treats for breakfast at quilting, and lots of beautiful show and tell:
*** The 12 step chocoholics program…..never be more than 12 steps away from chocolate!! ***
*** If by ‘’crunches’’, you mean the sound bacon makes when you eat it…then YES….I do crunches. ***
Another wonderful daily diary of our wonderful life!
