Since we had fresh bread….you know what that means??? Yep, gas housers for my honey for breakfast Monday morning (1/16):
He said they were perfection!
I started work on loading up Sandy’s second quilt, but only got the back and batting loaded before Pat picked me up at 1 PM for our Machine Embroidery meeting. I really wanted to make a better effort this year to attend these meetings for several reasons….our president has a million ideas for things and always has lots of fun info to impart….I get to see Pat and talk at least for the 2 seconds it takes us to drive there…and the show and tell is always awesome and inspriring!
Well, I came home from the meeting so angry that I don’t even want to go back!!! A couple of people who hadn’t been there for awhile were in attendance and talked through a lot of the meeting…it was SO RUDE!!! I really wanted to ask people to be a bit quieter at several points….but then (and I don’t really understand this) you are the one that is seen as a crab because no one else speaks up!!! I was thoroughly disheartened when one of the talkers told the president as she was leaving that she too was going to make more of an effort to come this year!!!! Anyway, the president talked to me and I’m down off the ledge :~), and I plan to go to future meetings…but if it continues to happen, I will definitely say something.
Anyway, I had no desire to sew anything after that, so I just sat and fnished my library book….a really charming read that I think is well worth your time…CHRISTMAS AT ROSIE HOPKINS SWEETSHOP by Jenny Colgan. And, I want to make another plug for what I think was my favorite book from last year....REMARKABLY BRIGHT CREATURES.
Michael was out at the movies (THE WHALE which he said was so fabulous that at the end…the audience clapped!!) and picked up pizza on the way home. We watched a bunch of TV while I knitted away!
BG sent a bunch of quilts off to the longarmmer and has been busily making bindings and labels:
so she is ready to hit the ground running when they all come back!

Lol Michael! I'm OK. It's the new me, for now 🙂 things could change at any time.
Is BG OK?
